Mr. Cecil R. Starks

Cecil R. Starks is the President/CEO of Purple International, Inc. which services the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metro-Plex community in the areas of construction, construction management, electrical, procurement and lease and rental equipment. The company has provided service to the community since 1999.

Mr. Starks is a native of Kelly, Louisiana and served in the US Marine Corp as a Senior administrator to the Commandant. He also played semi-pro football during his last year in the Marine Corp in Hawaii.

Mr. Starks has a Bachelors of Science and a Masters degree from the University of California State in Hayward, California.

Mr. Starks is the founder of the Plano Community Forum, Past Chairman of the Plano Independent School District Multi- Ethnic Committee, Chairman of Business Advisory Committee for the State of Texas, Board of Directors of the Black Contractors Association, and has been awarded the National Leadership Award for the State of Texas Business Advisory Committee and Xerox Corporation Minority Vendor Award.
